The Vivax Type-MX Reel is a compact and high-performance pushrod reel engineered for professional drain, pipe, and sewer CCTV inspections. Featuring a durable stainless-steel frame and lightweight carbon fibre drum, this reel is ideal for demanding drainage environments across the UK.
Designed for use with the Vivax vCamMX-2+ or vCam-6 control modules, the Type-MX Reel offers a choice of camera heads tailored to your needs — either the D26-HD self-levelling camera for clearer orientation in larger pipes or the D18-HD non-self-levelling camera for tighter access in smaller pipework. Both options deliver crisp HD imagery for accurate condition assessments.
Available in 30m or 45m pushrod lengths, the reel includes a built-in three-frequency sonde and a traceable pushrod, enabling precise pipe locating during CCTV drain surveys. The system also supports direct video export to USB and SD card, plus Wi-Fi compatibility via the VMC mobile app.
