Designed specifically for downward inspections, the YC-C38HY downhole camera system is ideal for vertical bores, manholes, service shafts, down holes and chimney flues where safe top-down access is required. Unlike traditional chimney up cameras, this system is engineered for controlled descent, providing stable handling and clear HD footage in deep or confined environments.
The compact Ø38 x 120mm camera head delivers 1280 x 720 HD resolution and features a durable sapphire lens with IP68 waterproof protection. This makes it suitable for wet, dusty and debris-heavy conditions commonly found in drainage systems and flue liners. Dual head viewing with 360° horizontal rotation allows detailed inspection of sidewalls, joints and structural defects without constant repositioning. Manual focus combined with 6 adjustable high-intensity LEDs ensures clear close-range visibility.
The 7 inch IPS monitor provides a sharp 1024 x 600 display and supports one-touch photo and video recording with audio. Supplied with a 40m PVC push cable on a robust reel, this inspection camera is well suited to deep vertical applications.
