From chimney sweeps to plumbers, the Wöhler VIS 400 Push Rod Camera System is a great asset and quality video inspection system. Easy to operate whilst standing on steep roofs to inspect chimneys, flue gas and ventilation systems, drains, etc. This is a modular system which can be combined a variety of camera vipers, cables and heads to suit specific requirements.
Comprising a 7” TFT monitor with glare protection, Ø26mm colour camera and a Ø40mm pan and tilt colour camera with 10 LEDs (both of which are detachable), detachable light ring, 4Gb SD memory card and a 12v NiMH rechargeable battery with a maximum operating duration of two hours packed in a durable plastic case.
This system come with a 30m camera viper push rod, Ø6.5mm with a digital meter counter, belt holder and stand. A camera roller guide, a protective sleeve and 10 replacement plastic domes for the Ø40mm camera head, a guidance sleeve with protection cage for the Ø26mm camera head and a Ø20cm VIS centring brush are also included with this system. The camera viper comes with an aluminium storage case, 48 x 27 x 48cm.
The monitor comes with a shoulder and wrist strap. The shoulder strap can be hung over the neck so the monitor will sit in front of your chest, allowing one hand to guide the camera cable whilst the other operates the controls.
The Ø26mm colour camera head is fixed and has 12 white LEDs.It is waterproof to IP68 (up to 30m depth for 30 minutes). The Ø40mm colour camera can pan 360° and tilt 180°. It is fitted with 10 adjustable LEDs and is waterproof to IP67 (up to 1m depth for 30 minutes). A separate light ring, compatible with the camera is also supplied. After panning and tilting, the home function on the control panel automatically aligns the angle of the camera to straight ahead. Both camera heads have built-in sonde locators.
The Wöhler VIS 400 will make a video recording of the inspection run. When damage is discovered, you can annotate the video with a voice recording, as well as taking still images at the press of a button.
Being modular, this system is perfect if you wish to expand it by adding equipment to accommodate a particular need. Made in Germany, it is exceptional quality and well designed.
